About Us

Established in 2002, the Kinesiology Academy Head Office is situated in Nambour, the heart of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

The population of the Sunshine Coast is around 250,000 and because of its sub tropical climate, is well known for tourism and its sugar cane, ginger and pineapple production.

In April 2005, a campus was established in Adelaide, thus formalising the goal of broadening the opportunities of students to study kinesiology as nationally accredited training. In 2008, a learning centre was established in Bowral, and in early 2009, the Sydney campus became operational. Also in 2009, regional Queensland was actively supported by a registered kinesiology instructor delivering classes to students in this vast area. Other regional centres are now operating in NSW and the ACT.

The Academy was established to provide professional courses delivered in enjoyable and innovative ways. Students develop motivational skills to achieve high levels of professional competence and personal growth.

Who are our students?

Our students come from all walks of life, male and female, young and wise. Some enrol because they see kinesiology as a way to manage their own health challenges. Some recognise that kinesiology can help maintain the wellbeing of friends and family. Most enrol because they want a career that is satisfying and rewarding using a relatively new science that is easily learned and applied.
